To get into Rutgers and be successful, take APOct 15 2005Engineering Department
To get into Rutgers and be successful, take AP classes. Take the AP tests and get atleast a 4 on them to exempt. Work really hard in high school. I know a lot of kids here took their senior years easy in high school, but, now they are struggling to learn information they never learned in high school. In general, it is easy to get into this school if you have decent grades. But, it is not easy to stay here if you do not fully prepared to take these classes.

It is not hard to get in, but not as easy as people make it seem. I fyou cracked 1000 SAT and have about a 2.7 gpa, you're probably in. A bit tougher for transfers but not impossible.

As far as i know getting in is a jokeDec 22 2004Biology
As far as i know getting in is a joke. i got into every school i applied to. i had a pretty high SAT for a state school like Rutgers(1450- 780 M,670 V) but i was EXTREMELY lazy in HS. i was the kind of person who would almost always come close to failing gym class;-). i had a ~2.9 gpa and very few activities (unless you count skateboarding and playing lots of video games). heck, i didn't even submit an essay. and they gave me a scholarship too! sure it might not have hurt that i'm instate and half hispanic (yeah i know affirmative action is pretty stupid). but still it's pretty easy to get into. my advice: dont sweat it.
